Infobase

A knowledge base for helpdesk policies and procedures. (dubbed the Infobase). The previous tool was antiquated - it had no ability to search, required html knowledge to update, new sections could not be added easily, and it was difficult to navigate. I rewrote the application from scratch. I designed and implemented a new database schema that allowed greater flexibility in managing data. I added an easier navigation, implemented a search engine, and added an html editor that could be used by anyone. I also implemented security and an interface that allowed managers to have direct access to modify and manage articles.
